Men's Nursing Home
This skilled-care facility, located near Medicine Lake in Plymouth, opened in 1964 exclusively for men. It provides short-term and long-term care for up to 80 residents who may be experiencing a variety of physical and behavioral health issues. Services include skilled nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, nutrition assistance, and social and recreational activities to help residents attain the optimum quality of life.
St. Joseph's Catholic Community collectively supports these individuals through our gifting programs. To sign-up for the Christmas or Birthday Programs, please contact our Outreach Ministry Coordinator. Items can be placed in the "Nursing Home" bin in the Parish Center Donation Center in the High Hall.
Christmas
Volunteers purchase Christmas gifts for Mission Nursing Home Residents. Resident requests are distributed to volunteers, who purchase a gift, wrap it and bring it back to the church for delivery.
Birthday
Throughout the year, volunteers purchase a birthday gift for a nursing home resident. We send you a resident’s name and their gift preference; all you need to do is purchase and wrap and label the gift and drop it off at church. We will deliver the gift in time for the resident’s birthday.
