Middle School Core Team: Helps plan and execute the Sunday evening IN TOUCH sessions, lead small group discussion, lead prayer and mentor youth toward discipleship. Qualifications: Love God, Love the Church, Love Kids and willing to share your Faith Journey with others. |
| 30 Hour Fast
Drivers/Chaperones:
Provide transportation and
guidance for the youth participants who are involved in the 30 hour fast
overnight experience. 40 drivers/chaperones are needed for this event,
which includes a male and a female willing to sleep at the church on
the Friday night of the event. Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid drivers license. Must be friendly and willing to supervise 4-6 youth on the road and at work sites. |
Mission Trip Leaders: Provide supervision and spiritual leadership to our youth while on a week long service adventure. You will act as driver, work supervisor, small group discussion leader, prayer leader, etc. 4 leaders are needed for both of our mission trips.
Qualifications:
Must be friendly, dependable, willing to take a weeks vacation, and
willing to share your faith with the team and the youth we serve |
Retreat Leaders: Provide supervision and direction while mentoring youth on an overnight at Camp Ihduhapi. Responsibilities include some small group leadership, acting as an advisor to Peer Ministers, and sharing your faith. A minimum of two adults are required for each retreat.
Qualifications:
Must be over 21 years of age and be willing to share your Faith Journey
with others. |
St. Anne’s Homeless Shelter Child Care : Provides transportation to and from St Anne’s Homeless Shelter, and supervises 2-4 middle school youth while they provide child care for children at the shelter during Mandatory group sessions for the Adult residents. Qualifications:
Must be able to be attentive, affectionate and affirming to children in
residence and feel comfortable directing middle school youth as they
interact with the children. |
Paint-A-Thon: Provides the labor to prep and paint the outside of homes belonging to residents who are no longer able to do the work themselves. The prep takes place on the last Saturday of July and the painting takes place on the first Saturday of August.
Qualifications: Must be willing to have a good time, helping an elderly
or disabled person reclaim pride in the appearance of their home.
Requires hard, but rewarding work. |
