To be a teenager is to be social, even in cyberspace. Teens participate in many activities because they enjoy the activity plus they enjoy company of the other participants. LIFE TEEN Ministry at St. Joseph's is commited to providing a safe, comfortable, non-threatening and enjoyable environment.

After School in the Youth Lounge

Got nothing to do after school?  Come hang out in the youth lounge!  The youth lounge will now be open EVERY Wednesday evening, except during breaks, from 2:45pm-4:15pm this year.  Come hang out, play games, do your homework, or watch movies!  All high school students are welcome!  After School in the Youth Lounge will begin Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 (Please see the bulletin or church calendar for more information).

Archdiocesan Youth Gathering

This year all high school students are invited to participate in the 2008 Archdiocesan Youth Gathering!  The AYG is an event that combines 700 Catholic youth from all over the metro area!  The evening will include a guest speaker, Mass, breakout sessions, music, dinner, open gym, and a dance!  The cost for St. Joe's youth is usually around $20 per student and will last from 2:00 - 9:30pm.  We will take a bus to and from St. Joe's.  Please contact Kate Berry for more information.

God's creation is so good. Every year, groups of 6-9 teens go to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) in late July or early August. Teens experience teamwork, beautiful nature, relaxation, and spiritual renewal. These teens learn a lot about themselves and each other when they get away from the daily grind.
