Retreat Experiences

Retreat experiences are excellent opportunities to learn more about the Catholic Christian faith in a setting that is fun, easy-going, natural and distant. LIFE TEEN Retreats are not only popular with teens, but prove to be successful as teens leave their day-to-day environment behind and set aside real time to find out more about God, themselves and one another.

This year’s Fall retreat will take place at the Urban Immersion Retreat Center in Minneapolis.  Youth will spend part of the weekend learning about poverty in our community and then put that knowledge into action by spending the remainder of the weekend serving in our community.  For more information about Urban Immersion retreats go to http://www.gmcc.org/retreats/index.html.

The Fall and Winter LIFE TEEN Retreats are open to every teenager who wants to come. However, space is limited on these retreats. The LIFE TEEN Confirmation Retreat is open to only candidates in the preparation. You can register for these retreats by contacting the High School Youth Minister, Kate Berry.
