LIFE TEEN 101
The point of LIFE TEEN Ministry is to help teens "Get a Life...in Christ!" That is right, LIFE TEEN is a comprehensive program designed to minister to High School teens of all faiths from a uniquely Catholic base. Attempting to reach teens on spiritual, emotional and social levels, LIFE TEEN responds to the teen need to be loved and accepted.LIFE TEEN encourages teens to embark on a journey of faith and relationship with God through Jesus Christ. At a weekly 6:00 pm LIFE TEEN Mass, teens enter into authentic and full worship of God with a faith community of peers, families and adults. Teens experience Christ's power and love through praise, prayer and breaking open the Word of God in scripture. All are welcome as teens gather around the alter to take part in the Eucharistic meal. Following the Mass, teens meet with peers and trained CORE Team members to learn about their faith in dynamic and challenging ways through the LIFE! night experience. When teens come to know that they are loved, they can be empowered by the Holy Spirit to lead fruitful lives in service of God and others and witness to the love they've received.
LIFE TEEN at Saint Joseph's
Celebrating Our Tenth Year!In 1996, the dynamic, exciting and comprehensive ministry, known as LIFE TEEN, began at St. Joseph's to foster the parish love of youth. LIFE TEEN, at St. Joseph's, incorporates both Middle and High School programs. Each is distinct in that they recognize their audience as unique and worthy of age-appropriate techniques and material. But, it doesn't stop there. In fact, everything the youth program does with young people (from retreats, BWCA trip and Mission Trips to Peer Ministry and Confirmation

Youth Ministry).Over the past seven years, the ministry has been modified to create the best possible means of building Christian relationships with youth and teens. This year, the Middle and High School program will continue to
collaborate on several projects and events, yet will focus even more on their target audiences.
