Liturgical Ministries

Blessed Are You!

Be Christ to others by serving the church as a liturgical minister.

“The administration of this ministry not only supplies
the needs of the members of the church
but also overflows in much gratitude to God"

 -2 Corinthians 9:12

Liturgy is a communal worship of God.  The Mass is a special liturgical celebration where all God's people gather not only to give praise and worship, but to offer themselves in the sacrifice of Christ's Body. To accomplish this, many people are needed to serve at any given mass.

While recognizing that all people take part in the liturgy, the Liturgical Ministers serve in a particular way to plan, organize and implement a vibrant, dynamic and prayerful liturgical service. The Liturgical Ministry strives to fulfill the Second Vatican Council's mandate to foster the full, active and conscious participation of the faithful at mass.

Below are listed the various opportunities for people to minister in the Liturgical department. Some ministers serve on a weekly basis, some once a month, and others serve on a "as needed" basis.

If you would like more information, or to offer your services please contact Aaron at the parish center by calling 763-544-3352 x112 or e-mail Aaron at amayer@stjosephparish.com.
