Get involved with a fun community of kids who assist during church on Sunday evenings. It is a very rewarding time to help serve the church and a great way to earn confirmation hours!
Youth ministers of the Word minister at the 6:00pm Sunday Masses. They proclaim the scripture readings of the day, lead the Prayers of the Faithful and read the announcements at the end of Mass. The assigned 3-4 youth ministers rehearse with an Adult Lector Coach the hour before mass begins.

Medical Fundraiser for Parishioners’ Family Member
Hannah Kiresuk needs a life-saving Bone Marrow transplant. She was diagnosed with a rare disease, Juvenile Myasthenia Gravis, at age 16. Now at the age of 20, this transplant is her only chance of life as all other treatments no longer work for her. An estimated $500,000 is being raised by twin cities-area volunteers to help with transplant-related expenses.
Hannah is a Granddaughter of Anne and Orrin Butterfield; Niece of Kathy and Bob Walz; and Niece of Bryan Butterfield who have been members of St. Joseph’s Parish for up to 27 years. Orrin is one of our projector ministers for 10:00 Masses at the Parish Center.
Hannah’s family is working with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to organize volunteers needed to help this miracle unfold. If you can be of assistance by volunteering time, ideas, access to services (e.g. printing services), or financial resources (tax deductible) which would help us … then we need you! Please contact Campaign Coordinator, Caroline Butterfield at 612-875-3567 or email@example.com to get involved.

In addition to your time and contributions, this family really needs your prayers. Thank you for helping COTA give Hannah a second chance at life.
