    • Loaves and Fishes - Crystal
Who we are: Loaves and Fishes is a non-profit organization that provides free, hot meals to individuals in the metro area and outstate Minnesota, no questions asked.

Where: We recently added an evening serving site at Brunswick United Methodist Church in Crystal (6122 42nd Avenue).

What we do: We are currently serving dinner to over 100 people on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, and we are looking to expand our serving to additional week nights. We are in need of additional volunteer groups to assist with food prep and/or serving. Groups and individuals can serve on a one-time, occasional, or regular basis.

Why: We know that hunger and homelessness has moved into the suburbs, and we are striving to reach out to touch people in our surrounding communities with a healthy meal, conversation and caring hearts.

Get involved: Please consider this opportunity to help us continue to grow Loaves and Fishes and serve more meals in the Crystal area. To volunteer, go to the Loaves and Fishes website, www.loavesandfishesmn.org, click on “dining sites”, look for the Brunswick Church site, and then click on “volunteer”. Or you may call Allie Anderson at the Loaves and Fishes office, 612-326-3673, to volunteer.
