Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit a food shelf? Come to the PRISM (People Responding in Social Ministry) Open House on Thursday, May 30, 5-7 PM, 730 Florida Avenue South, Golden Valley and find out.
 
Meet the new Executive Director, Michelle Ness, MSW, LISW and hear her vision for the future. Experience the food shelf, Resale Boutique and Auto Shop the way program participants do. Along the way, enjoy refreshments and register for prizes. The icing on the cake is your chance to assist with the summer needs of local children by bringing along food and clothing.

This summer, St. Joseph’s will again have a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) partnership with Savory Spring Farms, a community of Amish farms nestled in the valleys of southwest Wisconsin. There will be a delivery to St. Joseph’s every Thursday for 12 weeks from July 11 to Sept. 26.  Eggs, cheese pantry options are also available. To learn more, visit www.savoryspringfarms.com.
